JANIE WALKER Janie Walker is a gifted vocalist who continues to shock musicians and music lovers everywhere she performs. Janie may look ordinary, but when she begins to sing, there is nothing ordinary about her. She can go from rock to pop and then chime in with her favorite R&B and gospel in a beat. Janie credits her gift to GOD, who is first in her life. Janie was born in the North (Cleveland, Ohio) but grew up in the South in a small country town called Hurtsboro, Alabama. Many have not even heard of it, and if you blink an eye when passing through, you will miss it. Growing up in the South and being raised by her devout maternal great-grandmother, Janie experienced some of her first performances as a gifted vocalist in the church. She performed untiringly in choirs and as a soloist for many churches. She then went on to perform in school choirs as well. She left many stunned by her rich vocals at a very young age. As Janie matured, she realized she has an undying love for music, and she continues to chase her dream of being a well-known performer. Wherever the music leads, she follows. Her passion for music led her to many different places, traveling all over the South East to New York. She has been hired to perform at weddings and special events. She has sung with various local artists, a Motown band, and was even a part of a small gospel group of her friends. Janie has competed in numerous competitions all over Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, such as the Sunday's Best competition as well as Savannah Georgia's Got Talent contest where she won first prize. On her journey, she came upon Leosproduction of Atlanta, Georgia, meeting many people in the comic and music industry, working with playwrights, and gaining more experience. There is no stopping her in chasing her dreams! Her biggest fans are her husband of 13 years, Spence Walker, her two sons, and two special friends. Her words are, “I can't ask for nothing better.” Janie is a powerful vocalist waiting to be unleashed to the world!
