Award winning Don McNeill brings Mark Twain to life with his impersonation of the legendary American author and humorist. Don's performance is family friendly entertainment that makes people of all ages feel like they have stepped back in time and suddenly find themselves with Mr. Twain in none other than Hannibal, Missouri. Best of all, Don tells each of the stories just the way Mr. Twain told them in full costume and a Missouri drawl. Memories of the 19th century are so real that you can almost smell the cigar smoke! As a born and bred Missourian, Don has a special insight into the background and the personality of Mark Twain. As a young man he often dreamed about doing appearances as Mark Twain. About 2 years ago he retired from his career with American Airlines after 38 years and started doing live performances as his idol. Don recently finished a series of Mark Twain performances at all of the Regional Libraries in Wake County.
