Spanish flamenco, Russian-Gypsy, Latin traditional and modern dances at private parties, corporate events, festivals, concert shows and more. Marina can perform as a soloist with her backing tracks or with a virtuoso acoustic-classical guitarist/dancer or the entire band. * Percussionist/drummer, additional Latin/flamenco dancer, singers, violinist, accordion player and other musicians to compliment Marina are available upon requests. PERFORMER'S BIOs: Marina Shanefelter is a professional dancer, choreographer and instructor, originally from Estonia. Marina specializes in Flamenco, Latin and Russian-Romany (Gypsy) dances. She has performed in countries such as Russia, Estonia, Spain, Finland, Canada and the US. Since moving to the US she has taught and performed with the Carolinas Latin Dance Company, participated with the Charlotte Salsa Dance Company and Argentinean Tango Society, and created choreographies for companies such as Opera Carolina and others. Currently Marina performs with the US-based ensemble Via Romen and teaches in her private studio in Charlotte, NC. Vadim Kolpakov (guitarist) plays different kinds of music, from classical to jazz, and offers the best professional entertainment for weddings, private parties, corporate events and more.
