My name is Richie Santa and i am a professional singer / Elvis tribute artist based out of Staten Island New York . My career started over twenty five years ago. I have performed well over one thousand shows ranging from weddings / corporate / concerts etc....I have covered such artist as Sinatra, Bon Jovi, Bocelli, Frankie Vali, Aerosmith , Journey, etc... The list goes on and on, but my favorite entertainer has always been Elvis. He is the reason i became a performer.It was his influence that has lead me to a career in entertainment. I have been an Elvis fan since the age of eight and although i enjoy singing songs by other artist i can truly say that nothing gives me as much pleasure as singing a song by the KING. He has had a major impact in my life. So for me it is an honor to do a tribute the greatest performer to ever grace a stage. There will never be another Elvis Presley. He lit the torch all we can do is try and keep it burning Events i have been part are ELVISFEST 2011 held at the Hilton in Las Vegas. I was also in the IMAGES OF THE KING competition while in Memphis in 2011 and competed again in the POCONO MOUNTAINS ELVIS FESTIVAL in Oct of the same year. Was part of the Lake George Elvis competition twice in 2011 and 2013. In 2011 i was invited to perform at the Mohawk Casino near the Canadian border and from there i went to another event that was called from Nashville to Memphis. While in Nashville i performed at local venues and had the opportunity to record at studio B where Elvis recorded over 250 of his songs. From there it was on to Memphis for one week. I performed at Graceland Plaza and competed at the Hard Rock Cafe on Beale Street and also performed at the Clarion Hotel.. I competed again in the New England Elvis Festival/Competition over the labor day weekend in 2012. Other events I performed at was the Morris Murdock travel expo in in Utah 2012 Competed in Mesquite Nevada in 2013 at the Casablanca Resort Casino Competed in North Carolina in 2013 at Harrah's Cherokee Casino I was part of two benefit shows in 2013 and 2014 for the CHILDRENS HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA I was in Memphis for Elvis week in 2013 and performed at Graceland Plaza and also performed at a St Jude Benefit at the Clarion Hotel and will be back in Aug 2015 I competed in Ontario Canada in July of 2014 for the Collingwood Elvis festival and will be back this year 2015. I just did three shows in the Villages Florida on Feb 25th Feb 28th and March 3rd At CITY FIRE brownwood and the EISENHOWER REC CENTER. All three shows were sell outs. I will be doing a cruise with Royal Caribbean out of Tampa Florida on Nov 7th-12th .Going to Key west and Cozumel Mexico. I will also be doing a concert next year at THE STRAND in Lakewood Nj on January 9th 2016
