Mark Bushnell- Elvis/Neil D. Tribute Artist Elvis Impersonator from Newport, VA

Mark Bushnell is an exceptionally talented singer and musician. He performs an exciting, high energy tribute to Elvis Presley. The show is authentic to Elvis' performances of the early 70's. He also performs an electrifying tribute to Neil Diamond, from his concerts of the late 70's through the 80's. Mark has been performing live for audiences since he was a teenager, starting as a solo artist and as lead singer/guitarist in many bands, and in many styles. He has always been deeply connected to his biggest musical inspirations...Elvis Presley and Neil Diamond. Mark- "I must've heard Elvis before I can remember anything...seriously. My Mom and Dad were big time into music. And they would have their own little parties on a lot of Saturday nights, from when I was a toddler on. And they would let me and my brother and sister stay up late with them...and watch them dance and sing, and sing along with them. It was great! Well, my mom LOVED Elvis, But my dad HATED Elvis (probably just jealous). So on some Saturday nights, Mom would wait until Dad wanted to go to sleep....then she'd break out the Elvis records. This was an extra special time, for Mom...and for me. I was MESMERIZED by Elvis. He was like nothing else I ever heard. So I learned how to sing through HIS music. I grew up standing in front of a mirror, trying to learn all those cool moves....and I did! A lot anyway." Mark- "I remember when I first heard Cherry Cherry by Neil Diamond...I knew I wanted to learn guitar! So that started a lifelong love of Neil's music. Since then I've absorbed his sense of Spirit, and love, and joy. and it's hard not to sing like Neil when you play his music! Mark can also just be himself, playing guitar and singing a wide range of pop/rock/country/gospel songs across many era's. Mark has all the equipment needed, including PA and lighting, for most events for up to 250 person venues. He is also available for small, private events...and anything in between!
