I began my life in music at age 15. I've spent the last several decades as a vocalist, a drummer, doing on-air news, and as a public speaker. All music, all the time... I began DJing in 2013, as a favor for a family member. Then, it opened an entirely new phase of music performance for me. I spent several years learning and studying music mixes, trends, etc... Then I learned the DJ business aspect. Then I threw open the doors on the business, that is now Melvin's DJ Service! I've now been a professional DJ since 2015. However I've got several decades of working in music, that I use as a well of knowledge for this business. I would love to be the DJ, for your chosen event. Just get me on the telephone, or meet me in person. Ask me anything, that you want. And I'll put your mind at ease, about your upcoming event! I love working with venues, and wedding coordinators. However in the absence of a coordinator, I can help fill in, on your day, to help things move along. Want to play a game? Or games at your wedding? I'd be happy to host.
