Hi, I'm Gregg Sulzer aka DJ Sulz.As a lifelong musician, I blend my live percussion skills with my DJing so that your event is a one of a kind experience for you and your guests. I started playing drums at 10, studied classical composition at Purchase College as well as jazz piano and started spinning records while in college. My eclectic taste from classical to jazz to world to pop music combined with my love and expertise of playing drums in rock and funk bands over 30 years, brings an element of surprise to the musical journey. Serving the NY metro area including Long Island, Fairfield, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties. I'm best suited for weddings, private parties, corporate events, luxury events, fashion events, boat/yacht parties and gallery openings. I've gigged at many venues including The Cutting Room, Bethel Woods, Mercury Lounge, CBGB's, The Bitter End and the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. I love mixing and mashing music from today's dance and EDM with the classics from the 60's and 70's. I have a special affinity for today's Latin music which always gets the crowd up on their feet and moving. My ability to read a crowd and play what is best for the moment comes from 25 years of meditation/mindfulness practice and 30 years of live playing in diverse settings.
