Hi, I'm Johnny (DJ Jaw Knee Yeah), and I'm a mobile DJ from Los Angeles that services all of Southern California. I've been DJing since 2011, when I first got started by curating music for parties in college. My passion for music led me into the world of mixing. My skills in music production and improv add to my performances when I'm spinning behind the DJ booth. I've been DJing weddings and private events in backyards, restaurants, hotels, boats, & country clubs all over southern CA. My open-format style consists of mixing music across multiple genres including Top 40 Pop, Rock, Hip Hop/R&B, EDM (House & Trance), Disco, Funk, 80s, Latin, and anything else suitable for the occasion. Every event is unique, and I thoroughly enjoy helping to create the most memorable experiences!

Johnny was very professional and accommodating. I had cultivated a party playlist and shared it with him via Spotify. I expected only those songs to be played. While he did play many of them during dinner as background music, and played some of them during the time to dance, he also played songs I did not approve, including punk and emo songs. Also, he did not mix music and beats together to create smooth transitions and so the transitions were jarring. He was kind enough to play songs my guests requested and he did play a lot of great hip hop, pop, and 80's songs but his mixing skills were not up to par. He did have great equipment and lighting and responds fast.

This is the second year we have used Johnny for our Christmas party. Johnny is an excellent DJ. He showed up hours before the event to setup. He also provided some atmosphere lighting. He really listened to our guest and put up with their constant request. Jonny, is simply the BEST!!
