The Bags Howard band made our party!!!! The band was fun beyond belief and the individual members were gracious and gentlemanly. They made an appropriate level of fuss over the “birthday boy”, my father in law who was turning 90! The setting with the band and all the happiness they created. was in the words of my son in law, surreal (in a good way.) My father in law told me repeatedly that it was the best birthday party he’s ever had. My Mother in law and all the rest of the family loved it to. Adding to the fun was the the band fit right in with our family! We wanted to adopt them. Special thanks to Bags for making this happen.

Bags Howard and his orchestra made our wedding day perfect! They were easy to work with, responsive to questions from me and from our venue. When we asked if they could play a particular song so that one of our friends could sing, they were accommodating: although they never had a chance to practice together, it sounded like they had all been playing together for months. Most of all, their music made everyone happy and want to dance, which was the whole point. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

The Bags Howard New Orleans style band was absolutely wonderful to work with. Bags and I talked about my needs for the mock funeral---time, location, clothing, music, etc. They arrived on time, as promised, hung out with the crowd until time to get started and led our procession on to the church in true New Orleans tradition. Nothing could have gone smoother. Everyone was impressed and appreciative of their talent and professionalism. Without exception--I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Bags and his fellow musicians were terrific! They were the second line band at my husband's funeral. Their music selection was perfect for the processional and recessional. They arrived on time, were friendly with my family, and lifted our spirits. They were wonderful to brave the hot day and long, difficult walk to the burial site. Bags and his crew were absolutely phenomenal!!! We had a 1920's themed wedding reception and I can't speak highly enough about how much they contributed to the overall atmosphere. They're all incredibly talented and Bags was great to work with. I would highly, highly recommend them. Such a fun sound and a great group of guys.

Bags Howard band gave us the best performance we were expecting, my wife and I have initially wanted to have our wedding in New Orleans, the band brought New Orleans to us, one of the greatest moments was getting from Embassy Suites, where the ceremony was held, to the Acadiana restaurant for the party, Bags Howard played all the way in the streets of DC and all the guests following them, made it a real first line band playing and all are still talking about how magical that moment was, and all of that was thanks to the band.

Bags Howard assembled a quartet of musicians to play for our wedding cocktail hour. They were great!! They had people tapping their toes and dancing the entire time and we received so many compliments on them after. The wedding venue even mentioned that they planned to recommend them in the future. The music was perfect for the mood we wanted to create for the wedding. In addition to their musical talent, they were very professional, on time, and wearing appropriate attire (of the type we discussed in advance). I can't recommend them enough!

Bags and his Riverside Carnival Band were absolutely amazing, and the hit of our speakeasy-themed wedding. They are a group of talented and professional musicians who kept everyone's heads nodding and toes tapping all evening. Bags was wonderful to work with in the months leading up to our event and accommodated our specific requests without any trouble at all. They even took a request on-site from my jazz aficionado in-laws, which was great.
I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone considering jazz at their event. My only regret is that I had to spend most of my time greeting my guests, and couldn't spend more time just enjoying the music!

Bags and his bandmates are truly all 5's!!!! They were on time, all were very talented musicians, and they engaged the crowd with sing alongs and pure dixieland fun!
It was my Uncles 65th Birthday. After the party, he told us that this was the best birthday party that he has ever been to in his life!!! All our guests felt the same way.
If you are having an event and looking for a band to bring home the good times - Bags and his bandmates are truly it!!
