Maple Leaf Seven is a traditional jazz and swing band performing throughout the Northeast for concerts, dances, Mardi Gras events, weddings, OktoberFest, worship and memorial events. Founded in 1978 with CD's available. Trumpet, clarinet, tenor sax, trombone, piano, bass and drums with vocalist. Traditional jazz inspired by Louis Armstrong and New Orleans style; classic swing in the Ellington small-band style. We also provide spirituals/Gospel music for worship and funerals as well as German "oom-pah" for biergartens and dances. Smaller ensembles and full 18-piece big band are also available. Maple Leaf Seven is represented by St. J. Jazz, an arts advocacy organization based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont promoting and mentoring the live performance of traditional jazz and classic swing. We represent experienced, professional musicians and are committed to working closely with clients to incorporate effective live music performance into well-crafted events.
