We booked Zanzibar for our wedding on 9/16/23 and could not have made a better choice. Matt and his band are unmatched in their professionalism and talent! We had an absolute blast, and many of our guests remarked that they were one of the best bands they had ever heard. Zanzibar & Matt are incredibly organized - they made the entire process easy and worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. We also booked their dueling pianos option for our afterparty, which was a hit with our guests! Thanks you for making our wedding even more special and putting on a performance we will never forget!

Thorough, professional, detail-oriented, and that's just the PLANNING of the reception.
We couldn't be happier with the job that Mark, Matthew and the team at Shake Rattle & Roll Music did, in putting our wedding together, and that amazing band. They played oldies, they played disco, they played rock, they played current hits, and our guests loved it!

When I dreamt of my perfect wedding, I couldn't have imagined music like this. Matthew and his team (Debbie, Gene, and the rest of the PHENOMENAL band) exceeded every expectation. Our wedding (which was actually in June 2022, not January 2023) was the soundtrack of our relationship, and the team at Zanzibar knew EVERY song we wanted to hear. Earth Wind & Fire, James Taylor, Bruno Mars, and even some Led Zeppelin.
Matthew did ALL the MC work for the reception, and coordinated everything with our maitre' d. Their leadership was seamless, and allowed us to really enjoy the day (shocking, right!?). We already want these guys back for our anniversary party!

Our wedding was put together very quickly, and we were referred to the (amazing) team at Shake Rattle & Roll & Zanzibar. They worked with us to make sure every detail was perfect, and their patience, professionalism and personality all shone through.
The band, led by Matthew, were incredibly talented (every single one of them!). The music selections couldnt have been more spot-on, and they not only played our special songs to perfection, but they threw in some surprises during the reception (Dua Lipa, Stevie Wonder, Weezer, Springsteen!!!) that were a hit with our multi-generational crowd. GRAB THESE GUYS while theyre available. You won't be sorry!
