BRASS ROOTS / or The Brass Roots Orchestra is a 10 piece group consisting of a rhythm section of piano, guitar, bass, and drums / 3 horns / a male and 2 female vocalist, the group can perform as a (dectet to trio). We are a sophisticated dance ensemble performing authentic dance music, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Big Band, Latin to ethnic favorites. We have been performing at weddings, night clubs, company functions and private affairs for the past ten years. You will be pleased with a great sound, as well as the professional and meticulous attention given to design your specific musical needs.

First, and most importantly, the Brass Roots are MUCH better performers live than they are on the recordings. Way tighter and funkier. They are also very responsive and accommodating (we had potential rain, and they worked with us). They showed up on time, played when they said they would and even played the songs we requested. I highly recommend them for any party you plan on having, they're very very good.
