About VendorÂ
Learn more about this vendor for your event.
Kenny Karr was the leader of the Americana/Roots-Rock band Altered Roots from 20014 to 2019. He has since gone back to his personal roots and started a new project under the name Wood & Steel. Wood & Steel mixes Americana, Roots-Rock, Country, and Originals into their repertoire, depending on the venue as well as requests from clients. Their tight male/female harmonies gives them a diverse and unique sound that opens up opportunities to diversify their song choices. Wood & Steel features Kenny on vocals, acoustic guitar, foot-drums, and harmonica as a solo act, and his female singing partner joins him on duo projects, bringing her powerful lead vocals and tight harmonies to every song they perform. With both male and female lead vocals, two guitars, a custom foot-drum and harmonicas, Wood & Steel creates their "Country with a Roots-Rock Chaser" style with tight vocals and harmonies at the forefront. "We would be honored to perform at your next event, whether it be a party, wedding, corporate/community event, restaurant, pub or anything in between. Thank you so much for your consideration." Sincerely, Kenny Karr Wood & Steel
