Monkey Hill is a five-piece cover band that has played in just about every venue in the New Orleans area. Dr. Rob Dahmes, bassist and vocalist, was a five night a week French Quarter musician. He now combines his practice of medicine with his love for music. He is the founder and leader of Monkey Hill and is assisted by his wife, Dr. Victoria "Vicki" Dahmes. Monkey Hill features Walt Gonzales, lead guitar player and vocalist, Jerry Nuccio, keyboard player and vocalist, Rico Rivas, drummer, and Carole Turner-Smith, female lead vocalist. Monkey Hill covers classic rock, rhythm and blues, local favorites, and just a bit of country. Their gumbo music mix includes line dances and is designed to keep you on the dance floor!
