Blue Cats Cover Band from Columbus, OH

The Blue Cats are (up to 4) veteran blues-rock (even jazz) musicians, Rick Collura (elec. guitar), Terry Finneran (keys, vocals, blues harp, flute), Andy Smith (percussion), and York Procter (electric bass). We provide an energy intensive, yet volume controlled set of original arrangements of favorites from our musical hip pockets. We performed a Santana Tribute concert at the Woodstock 50 year anniversary celebration at Valley Dale last August 17th and have appeared on several occasions at Natalie's Coal-Fired Pizza. We cover 60s-70s favorites from artists like Van Morrison, Cream, Clapton, Traffic, Dylan, Santana, a little Doors, etc. We also enjoy playing our renditions of tunes from masters like George Benson, Herbie Mann or hard blues from Billie Holiday, Paul Butterfield, etc.. Individually, each member has enjoyed national exposure either fronting or backing artists: James Brown, Albert King, Luther Allison, Johnny Winter, Tom Scott, Leo Kotke, Johnny Paycheck, Jesus Christ Superstar tour, Dane Donahue, The Griswolds, Ray Guy Blues Band, etc. We may also be able to provide a duo or trio if that is more suitable to the occasion.
