Matt Jenkins is an award winning singer/songwriter from Ft. Worth Texas...He moved to Nashville in 2002 and eventually signed a recording contract with Universal South Records. In the past few years he's opened up shows for Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Sugarland and made several appearances on the Grand Ole' Opry. He writes for a publishing company in Nashville, and has recently written the hits "Cop Car" for Keith Urban and the #1 Hit "Where It's At" for Dustin Lynch. Matt has played every event from wedding's, cookouts, bachelor parties to corporate events at venues ranging from country clubs, conference rooms and dance halls. A huge lover of all kinds of music Matt can play songs from many different styles of music...songs by artists such as: George Strait, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Alan Jackson, John Mayer, Blake Shelton, Keith Whitley, Michael Buble, Pure Prairie League, Sting, Randy Travis to name a few....along with many of his own original songs. Matt is completely comfortable in any setting and can play whatever is right for the occasion...if it means getting people dancing or just being soft background music....he love's entertaining people and bringing music to any event!! He can play solo acoustic shows or put together a small band if needed.
