Mark Hackley lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He plays acoustic guitar and sings originals and covers from the heart. He provides guitar-vocal or guitar-only pieces for a variety of events in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In 2004, Mark produced his first country album called 'Family Man In Crisis'. He released his second album, 'Hurricane' in 2008. His third album 'Road to Paradise', 2010, fourth album "Changed Life', 2014, and a new project called 'Life Beyond the Pain' will be released in 2018; many songs are featured on YouTube, just Google "Mark Hackley". Mark has his own portable sound system- perfect for small to medium venues. He has performed with the country band "Pony Express" which played at the Grand Old Opry in Nashville, and also appeared on the live radio show at the Birthplace of Country Music in Bristol, Tennessee. In 2010, he had the opportunity to open for "The Kingston Trio" with the acoustic band, "Midlife Crisis" at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, where he performed original songs: Hurricane and Road to Paradise. Mark also performed at the Wayne Theater's 2011 Mountain Music Festival and also at the Intercultural Fair at Monroe Park for Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015 and 2016. His specialties are solo performances in small restaurants, coffee shops, backyard parties, corporate gatherings, downtown outdoor events, performing art centers, church services, and charity events. He also enjoys providing wedding and funeral music, and can also be hired to lead special church services where he provides his life testimony of the power of Jesus Christ. A pulmonary embolism survivor, Mark often seeks community music/health awareness events to raise blood clot awareness.
