Hi, My name is Bryan Shepherd and I have been in love with country music as long as I can remember. My grandfather was a local musician and was the one who got me started playing music. I still have his dobro, although I play guitar and harmonica mostly now. I’m a huge fan of Merle Haggard and cover a lot of his material along with a variety of other singers like Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, David Allen Coe, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr.. I also do some blues from T Bone Walker and B.B. King, some southern rock by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers and a few original tunes as well. As I say on my website " I love playing working class music for working class folks." You can book me as a solo artist, duo (guitar and bass), trio (guitar, bass and pedal steel guitar) or as a full band with anywhere from four to six pickers. However you choose to book me, I give one hundred percent and always enjoy interacting with the audience—that’s why I play. I love getting the crowd involved and often take requests from the stage.
