Wayne Lee Ray is a 5-piece outlaw country band from Winchester, VA, bringing the best from Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver and more! Formed by a group of veteran musicians from the Northern Shenandoah Valley who share a love for the long-lost, hell-raisin', hard-drivin', chicken-pickin' outlaw country of their youth, Baritone singer and guitar picker Johnny Lee Ray and the boys bring their hard driving sound to bear on your favorite country tunes from the 50's, 60's and 70's, compliments of the stinging lead guitar of Professor Jerry Lee Ray and blues master Scotty Lee Ray's hard-blowing harp. Held down by the rock-solid, high-energy rhythm section of Davy Lee Ray (bass) and Donnie Lee Ray (drums), Wayne Lee Ray will rock your socks off!
