The Make Mine Country Band is comprised of five of central Pennsylvania’s most talented musicians, each from diverse musical backgrounds, with our roots in classic country music. Each of us grew up in a musical family playing the songs from the pioneers of country music like Hank, Patsy, ET, George Jones, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn and so many more. This is some of the music that resonates from our instruments and voices during our shows. And sometimes we sneak in a vintage rock and roll classic or even a bluegrass or gospel number. Some of our favorite songs showcase the three and four part harmonies that come so naturally for the band members. The band has performed with country music greats David Frizzell, Tommy Cash, Mel McDaniel, Georgette Jones, Mickey Gilley, Dion Pride, Tim Atwood, Confederate Railroad, Marty Haggard, Michael Twitty, Johnny Counterfit, Hawkshaw Hawkins II, Connie Smith, Jerry Reed and many others. We have played in country music venues on Broadway in Nashville to the historic Wheeling Jamboree to dancehalls and honkytonks to fraternal clubs to veterans organizations to carnivals and fairs to backyards anywhere. Square dancing and line dancing lessons, if requested, can be a bonus for your event. We love meeting new people and appreciate the support we receive from our friends and fans.
