These are the kinds of simple acts you can do from your desk which will reduce stress and open your mind and soul to more creativity and more job satisfaction. I love to watch people work at their desk and see their heads held forward, their backs rounded, barely breathing. Demands on our time and energy are higher than ever. Weight gain, depression, panic attacks, heart attacks, and strokes are all linked to this pressure and is the number one health crisis of our time. Emotional stress patterns and poor posture contribute to the body being tight and the mind being more and more constricted as well. I am passionate about teaching people to become aware of their bodies and thoughts at work. I teach small and simple changes that take just a few second but that can make a world of difference in your performance at work. Lowering stress levels at work has been proven to increase productivity and creativity. Workers with less stress report being happier at work and are easier to work with. I enjoy teaching business leaders learn to breathe and laugh. Stretch breaks and breathing time-outs at conferences are also my speciality. It adds an element of awareness, humor, and increased concentration to any event.
