What To Expect: 

Matt Nagin is an award-winning entertainer. He works as a comedian, a costume character/actor, and a balloon twister. He has performed standup in seven countries and has toured the country making audiences laugh. 

His one man show appeared at the People's Improv Theater in NY, Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters, and at The Edinburgh Festival for a full month run where it obtained terrific reviews. He appeared on The Dr. Steve Show, is a regular guest on the Audrey Russo radio program, and has appeared on NYC Crime Report on Compound Media, the Ed Tyll Show on Florida Man Radio, among many other media outlets. 

Want something a little diferent? Matt can dress up as a variety of characters and entertain guests. Some of the characters he can play include a pirate, a rapper, a social media influencer, a karate sensei, a russian oligarch (think Vladimir Putin) and more! Matt is an experienced actor who has appeared in a great deal of TV and Film, including in a scene with Al Pacino on the show "Hunters" so you can trust him to make your event a terrific success!

With children's parties Matt can moderate trivia questions, play games (pass the balloon, animal charades etc.), create balloon animals, and help provide comedic relief and a festive atmosphere all can enjoy.

Bio:

Matt Nagin is a comedian and author who has published four books, appeared on two reality shows, acted in numerous TV and Film projects, and performed standup in seven countries.

Some career highlights include the 2019 publication of his humor book Do Not Feed The Clown by Tenth Street Press, the poem “If We Are Doomed” winning the 2018 Spirit First Editor’s Choice Award, and an appearance on the Amazon series Hunters in a scene with Al Pacino. Other experiences he is grateful for include playing Sgt. Harris on Street Justice: The Bronx, since it gave him an opportunity to meet Ralph Friedman, the most decorated detective in NYPD history, performing his one man show at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, and creating the short film, Inside Job, which won several awards at festivals including Best Short Film at The Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes and Best Supporting Actor at The Nice Film Festival.

Perhaps most importantly Matt spent several years as a Talent and Show Coordinator for The Gotham Comedy Foundation, a charitable organization that brings comedians into hospitals and senior centers. Matt further has long been involved with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and, in 2019, was granted the Long Island Chapter’s Mission Award.
