Emily Taradash Comedy Comedian from Overland Park, KS

Emily is a warm-hearted comedian who loves infusing her experiences with professional theatre, observational comedy, and the joys of being a woman in this day and age. Raised by a family who loved sharing jokes around the dinner table, Emily trained as a performer from a young age. She completed her BA in Theatre from the University of Vermont, and later an MFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst-- she set to collecting resume credits up and down the eastern seaboard. She hid backstage in costume shops for many years, honing her patter in dressing rooms, but mostly being told she needed to be "more serious." Eventually, she was cast by accident in a touring 1940's musical revue as the Brassy Alto named Fran in Upstate NY, she was a company member in a cheeky modern dance company called Abby Bender Schmantz Theater in Brooklyn, the lead singer in a jazz/rock band in Georgia, and played a casually bi-sexual femme bot named Dehnise in the hilarious "2010: Our Hideous Future the Musical."
