DERICK LENGWENUS BIO Derick Lengwenus is an international headliner known for his bold and intelligent style. The Just For Laughs festival describes his act as, “…clever comedy with a quick left turn into absurdity.” Derick's credits include: Winner of Best Comedy in the Montreal Fringe Festival, Winner of the Audience Choice Award at the International Eat My Shorts festival, runner up at both the San Francisco and Midwest Comedy Competition, and four appearances in the Just For Laughs festival. Derick most recently appeared on the new comedy series on Fox called “Laughs”. Derick is also know for his hilarious jokes about his German Father. He is originally from Canada and moved to Chicago in 2008 where he studied improv and graduated from Second City's conservatory in 2011. Now he tours across the U.S. and Canada performing at clubs, theatres, and corporate functions. Derick's past corporate clients include: Reebok, GM, and Accenture.

Derick was fantastic! He had several of my residents and staff crying with laughter. He was so accommodating and friendly- incredibly easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good gut-busting laugh.

Derick was accommodating to our needs as a company. He was very sociable and easy to get along with! We really enjoyed having him. I highly recommend Derick if you need a comedy act for your event. At one point my boyfriend had to take off his glasses because they were fogging up from him laughing so hard! We all truly had a great time. My coworkers are raving about it and I even had a board member call this morning to tell me it was the best holiday party he's attended so far! Thanks again!
