Adrianne Chalepah Clean Comedian from Towaoc, CO

Adrianne Chalepah is a witty, sarcastic clean comedian. Her comedy draws on her experiences as an Indigenous (Kiowa/Apache) woman in America. Her comedy is observational and has been described as "feminine-centric" and a "gut-busting experience". Her stand up comedy career began while attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where she made her stage debut and also studied film-making, journalism, and American Indian/Indigenous Studies. In 2009 she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts; and in 2010 her comedy career took off when she teamed up with the popular comedy troupe 49 Laughs Comedy. Since then, Chalepah's performances have gained recognition, landing her features in magazines and on television. In 2012 she was honored to open up for the First Lady Michelle Obama at a campaign event. In 2014, she, along with three other Native female stand up comedians, teamed up to form "Ladies of Native Comedy", a showcase of indigenous women and their humor. Adrianne is currently a mother of three, wife, and businesswoman.
