Yimin Cai is the former principal harpist for the world-famous Shanghai Opera House in China and a graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Invited to the U.S. by special request, and recruited for her magical harp abilities, she has proudly called the U.S. home for many years. Dedicated to her craft, she also holds a master's degree in harp performance from Texas Tech University. Performing since the age of 12, she has thrilled thousands with her beautiful solo performances and mesmerized many as a professional harpist with symphony orchestras both in the U.S. and China. Conservatory-trained and performance-tested in the classics - and highly capable playing all genres of music from popular to children's songs - she can gracefully add that extra dimension to any gathering with her versatile harp style or highly trained piano talents. A seasoned veteran of hundreds of weddings, ceremonies, special events or parties, her elegant style and youthful charm add that special touch to any event. With an expansive songbook, proven experience, and great talent, satisfaction is guaranteed, and given, to each and every, client.
