Marilyn Rucker sings and plays piano with classically trained skill and jazz honed freedom. She can play classical pieces at wedding, croon love songs at anniversaries, and belt out the blues at birthday parties. She's played and sung all over the United States and is available as a solo performer and with larger jazz and pop groups. Marilyn also plays a variety of jazz inflected original humourous tunes, some of which have appeared on network t.v and in video games. She can even compose a tune for your special event with enough notice, or she can play favorite requests. She plays and sings jazz tunes from the twenties to the present, and can also do an evening of ragtime or light classical favorites, depending on your needs. Marilyn's performances are professional, enjoyable, versatile, and affordable.
