Who We Are Gabriel's Horns is Milwaukee's premiere provider of musicians for weddings and corporate events. The energetic performances of Gabriel's Horns have been heard throughout the Midwest and on the East Coast since 1993. The group's versatile musicians bring together a wealth of varied experience from orchestras, chamber groups, modern music ensembles and big bands. Our Ensembles The players of Gabriel's Horns perform in a number of ensemble combinations, offering any combination of strings (duo/trio/quartet), string ensemble with flute or trumpet, flute and harp duo, solo harp, keyboards and vocals, bagpipes, mariachi band, flamenco guitar, and jazz combo. Among the possibilities for brass are the regal fanfares of one to four costumed herald trumpeters with banners, single trumpet with organ, the fanfares of multiple trumpets or brass quartet. Our Repertoire The group's repertoire covers 900 years of music. In addition to a full classical repertoire, the ensembles also perform the sentimental ballads, Broadway tunes and contemporary pop music of the 20th century. Gabriel's Horns' jazz repertoire ranges from the standards through the latest contemporary jazz. The extensive repertoire and varied ensembles of Gabriel's Horns can be tailored to accommodate your event needs, from a full concert program to weddings, private parties, holiday celebrations, and corporate events. About Our Musicians Members of Gabriel's Horns have performed with such groups as the New York City Opera, Connecticut Ballet, Milwaukee Symphony, Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra, Skylight Opera, Florentine Opera, Chicago Lyric Opera, Fireside Theater, and the Broadway in Milwaukee series, and are frequently seen and heard performing jazz and modern music in venues throughout the area. Ensemble members have toured nationally and internationally with Broadway shows and internationally acclaimed big bands, and have recorded for motion pictures, television and commercials. Members of the group have held faculty positions at Lawrence University, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Cardinal Stritch University, Concordia University, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Carroll College, Alverno College and many more. A - We are proud to announce that our prices have stayed virtually unchanged since 2011. Due to the volume of weddings we do, we are able to keep the cost affordable for you, and our musicians love to play for weddings! Q - Can I see your group live sometime? A - Yes, depending on the group you select and their upcoming events. Since this can be tricky in the off-season, we have provided several sound samples for each group to help you decide which is best for your event needs. Q - What do the fees include? A - The fees include assistance planning music selections, prelude/postlude music for ceremonies, set-up and take-down time, and all communications. Q - Who will my main contact be?
