He received his doctoral degree in Harp Performance from Ball State University and a master of music in Harp from the University of Michigan. His professionalism and talent has brought a touch of class to weddings, memorial services, corporate dinners, parties, and celebrations throughout the United States. His current engagements as a harpist include the posh Beverly Hills Peninsula Hotel and the world-famous Forest Lawn Memorial Park. For oven ten years, Dr. Nichelson worked as a pianist, accompanist and piano teacher - performing in Von Maur Department Store and serving as rehearsal piano accompanist for many musical theater productions, church choirs, and school choirs. He is still actively playing the piano and is available to play lovely background music for your event. Dr. Nichelson is available as a solo harpist and offers duo and trio options with violin or with flute and cello. He has performed as a harpist for special events and functions throughout Southern California at venues such as Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, the Magic Castle in Hollywood, the Montage Hotel, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Holy Cross, and Hollywood Forever.
