Victoria Robertson - Classical and Broadway Singer Classical Singer from San Diego, CA

Hello! My name is Victoria Robertson. I am an accomplished soprano specializing in Italian opera, musical theater, and traditional Neapolitan and Spanish ballads. My journey in opera began at 18 with the San Diego Opera, where I performed in over 25 productions while building my career as a concert and events singer. I hold a master's degree in vocal performance and have undergone extensive opera training at the Trimble Vocal Institute. Throughout my career, I have had the honor of winning multiple classical singing competitions and performing as a guest soloist with prestigious ensembles like the San Diego Symphony and Opera Santa Barbara. One of my memorable experiences was singing in the world premiere of *Séance on a Wet Afternoon* by Stephen Schwartz. Other stage credits include roles in *The Secret Garden*, *My Fair Lady*, *Hansel and Gretel*, and more. During the pandemic, I found a unique way to connect with my community through weekly porch opera concerts in North Park, which gained international media attention. My dedication to serving the USO led to performing for U.S. troops for over a decade, earning the titles of Miss San Diego and Miss USO, San Diego, as well as the Volunteer of the Year award. As a co-founder of the non-profit Opera4Kids, I’ve introduced classical music to thousands of children in San Diego. I also co-founded the musical act Duetto, touring the U.S. with a blend of Broadway and opera performances. It is my greatest pleasure to add joy to any event by finding creative ways to engage the general public into opera arias and musical theater songs. I find beauty in expressing love and longing in song and have contributed to numerous weddings, celebrations of life, patriotic events, and private or corporate parties. I continue to pursue my passion for the arts, striving to make a positive impact on my community through my work.
