Daniel Alvarenga, "The Guitar Mystic," is a versatile guitarist with over 20 years of experience in teaching and performing. He began playing guitar at a very young age and has since pursued his dream of becoming a music educator and professional performer. Daniel studied with a direct disciple of Agustin Barrios Mangoré and trained at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a minor in Education. He also earned his California Teaching Credentials at San Francisco State University. With over two decades of teaching experience, Daniel incorporates a wide range of styles into his lessons, including Classical Guitar, Flamenco, Latin American and Afro-Cuban music, Reggae, and Rock.
