A LITTLE ABOUT JON-O Under the tutelage of Bill Kanengiser and Scott Tenant, members of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Jon-O completed his studies in classical guitar at the prestigious University of Southern California in 2000. Since then he has been commissioned to perform for Carlos Santana, regularly performs with “Maestro” Lázaro Galarraga, Angel Figueroa, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, and Peter Jacobson, to name a few. Spanning a range from Classical to Rock, Afro-Cuban to Flamenco, North Indian to Latino, Jon-O has a versatility and depth that comes straight from the soul. He has traveled extensively studying his art and expanding his knowledge to create his current multi-cultured repertoire. Jon-0 has toured and performed in Spain, France, Australia, New Zealand and throughout the USA and Mexico. As a departure from his extensive classical repertoire, he also sings in English and Spanish including Flamenco, Cuban music, and much more. AND THERE'S MORE! Jon-O performs regularly with top musicians from around the world and can provide a full-on flamenco band (including dancers), a salsa band, Cuban band and an incredible Spanish guitar duo.
