Along with classical guitar recitals, performed internationally, Alexander Vlassenkov has been playing guitar music for special events, including: Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail Hours, Receptions, Dinners, Worship Services, Corporate Fuctions, etc. Alex provides a nice blend of Classical Guitar, Jazz Standards, Your Favorite Pop Songs, Latin American, Spanish and Italian background music, which is not intrusive, and allows guests to enjoy the event as well as fine entertainment. Alex believes that Live Guitar music creates a very fine environment, that enhances guests' experience without competing with guests' conversation, adds an elegant touch, and makes the event special and memorable. Amplification is available for performing in large rooms. Alex has earned two Master's Degrees in Music Performance and Guitar Teaching, one from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, UK, and one from the State Academy of Music in Minsk, Belarus. He has performed extensively all over Europe: in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and more recently in the US. Currently Alex lives in Branford, CT, teaches at NMS in New Haven, and performs at local restaurants and private events.
