On my wedding checklist a must have of mine was an acoustic guitarist for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I found Jory and instantly signed with him after hearing some of his samples. He has such a good energy, sound and a great vibe overall. Our guests gushed over how perfect the acoustic guitar was for our wedding ceremony. Right when we were being pronounced husband and wife, the sun started coming through the clouds and Jory made the call to play here comes the sun. Everyone thought it was so magical. He brought the vibes for cocktail hour and everyone just loved the whole ambiance. Thank you so much Jory for adding magic to our day and making it unforgettable.

I was very pleased to have Jory Schumann perform at my cocktail party. He is a talented guitarist, but just as importantly he conducted himself very well. Playing at a party, the musician needs to blend into the background and let the guests enjoy the music and have conversations . ?? He did that very well, and was courteous and low key. Also reliable; showed up a few minutes early to set up. I will definitely use him again in the future (if he’s available).

I hired Jory to play for my husband's 50th birthday at our home. Jory arrived on time and set up everything he needed for the night. He was very professional and polite. His musical talent is superb and. I gave him a list ahead of time of artists that my husband likes from all different genres. It was quite a broad range of music, and Jory played it beautifully all by memory. My husband loved it and Jory's musical talents sparked questions and conversation from intrigued guests. We would absolutely hire Jory again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone looking for an extraordinary acoustic guitarist to play for their special event.

Jory was amazing! I hired him to play for my wedding and he was an absolute hit! All of my guests were raving about him after the wedding. He’s incredibly talented and was willing to learn a new song for me to walk down the aisle to, which was greatly appreciated! He showed up on time, was professional and incredibly friendly. I will definitely keep Jory in mind for future events and would recommend him to anyone! 10/10!

Wow! Best decision I made for our wedding - Jory figured out how to play an instrumental version of Nessum Dorma because that is what my (now) husband wanted for our wedding ceremony procession - and it was beautiful!! He also has an uncanny ability to read the room and play the most appropriate songs at the right time. Broadway, standards, popular- all in his repertoire. I will definitely book Jory again whenever we want live music.

We hired Jory for an outdoor 70th birthday party and everyone enjoyed the beautiful sounds of classical guitar. It was perfect for our event! Jory played music from James Taylor to Eric Clapton to Happy Birthday at the end of the night. Jory was so easy to work with and called to check in and even let me know when he was caught in a bit of traffic the night of the event, but it didn't push the timing back much and he just came in quietly and started playing. Such an easy addition to any gathering. Can't wait to book again.
