Eric Roberts is an accomplished classical and jazz guitarist and bassist as well as composer, and has been playing professionally since the age of 16. He has music degrees from Ithaca College and the University of Miami and has played with numerous notable entertainers, such as: Chuck Berry, The Fifth Dimension, The Drifters, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers, Anthony Newley, Maureen McGovern, and the Smothers Brothers, to name a few. Eric's own original music encompasses a variety of musical influences, from Paul Winter and David Darling to Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber and Pat Metheny, as well as the music of Brazil. His own unique sound comes from a melding of instruments - from the classical guitar, fretless bass and guitar synthesizer to the mandolin and the bandura (a Ukrainian instrument akin to the harp). Eric is available as either a solo guitarist or with a flutist for wedding ceremonies, private parties, corporate events, concerts and festivals. His repertoire ranges from traditional classical to jazz, smooth jazz, brazilian, new age, nuevo flamenco, pop and more. TESTIMONIALS: "Eric made our wedding perfect! He played acoustic guitar to some contemporary tunes that we picked out. It was elegant and so wonderful - he's a very talented musician and very versatile - he can play anything! Also, he was incredibly professional to work with from start to finish and the value of his service was great compared to others. I would highly recommend working with Eric for your wedding or any other event." Kate Merson "Thank you so much! Your music was beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I really appreciate all of your help and would definitely recommend you to anyone!! Good Luck!" Elizabeth Zimmerman "Eric Roberts not only provided professional services for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, his flair and style added the depth and emotion which made the ceremony exceptional. In addition, Eric was flexible and open to work with a family member who, due to unusual circumstances, also played during the ceremony. I highly recommend Eric - his music is beautiful and emotive, he is responsive, professional, easy to work with, and provides a great value for the budget. I can't say enough favorable comments about Eric." Victoria Girdzuinos "Tyler & I just wanted to thank you for sharing your talent with us on our wedding day of 10/14 at Arrowhead. Our guests and us enjoyed your music, it added such a special touch to our ceremony. Thank you for your flexibility on that day--- with the rainy weather & our need to do the ceremony indoors. We wish you & your family well. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving." Erin Turley "I just wanted to thank you for a great performance on Sunday- it was fantastic! Thank you so much for playing on such short notice, I think everyone had a great time. Hopefully we can work together again in the future." Lindsey Sidener Assistant Banquet Coordinator Aquarium Restaurants "I just wanted to thank you again for a WONDERFUL show the other night! We had great feedback from the attendees- everyone really enjoyed the performance. Thank you again for being a part of our Showtime at Southridge series! We hope to work with you again in the future!" Jennifer Marquis Community Events Coordinator Highlands Ranch Community Association (HRCA) "Eric is one of those rare talents who makes music that transcends a mood or an occasion. I was so struck by the beauty of his pieces that seem to cheer you when down and mellow you when in need of a bit of quiet. And he has just as impressive a soul. As accomplished and busy a musician as he is, he took time away to play for a non-profit cause to help move it forward in the world and all present had a more beautiful day because of him. I am quite grateful to have crossed his path." K. Pelletier The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network "Thank you so much for participating in our Night of the Museums event. I hear it was a resounding success! We had no idea it would draw such a crowd. I hope you enjoyed the evening." Pamela Wineman Managing Editor of Publications, Denver Museum of Nature & Science
