Michael James has enjoyed performing classic rock music in the central coast and bay area for over eight years. Currently performing solo, Michael has performed with top rock and roll groups at clubs, wineries, corporate events, and private functions. His enjoyment of classic rock dates back from the time he was a kid growing up in Michigan. Michael's first guitar at age 9 was a mail order special that kept him entertained and inspired for hours at a time. Michael performed and toured professionally during and after college throughout Michigan and Indiana. He also traveled to gigs in Texas and Los Angeles. He enhanced and elevated his singing style and vocal range under the direction of the Arbors singing group in Chicago. Meanwhile, Michael's love of classic rock music spans the decades from the 1960's through the 1980's and beyond. The diversity of their music begins with the King (Elvis) and branches out to groups like the Beatles; Rolling Stones; Byrds; Doors; CCR; Allman Brothers; Eagles; Dire Straits; Roy Orbison; Johnny Cash; and America. Other artists' music that are performed by the Michael James System include Jimmy Buffett; Eric Clapton; J.J. Cale; Neil Diamond; Chris Isaac; Uncle Kracker; and Phillip Phillips from American Idol.
