Husband and wife Celtic duo Margaret & Kristoph consists of professional multi-instrumentalists/singers Margaret Davis and Kristoph Klover. Enchanting audiences since 1993 with their artistry on Celtic harp, guitars, flute, octave mandolin, recorders, and soprano and tenor vocals, Margaret & Kristoph will make your event unforgettable. Their versatile repertoire of Irish and Scottish music ranges from lively jigs and reels to lovely harp/guitar tunes, ballads, and singalong songs. They are happy to adapt their program to your specific needs and can perform entirely instrumentally should you require. These professionally-trained musicians bring joy and energy to their intricate arrangements and an enthusiasm that uplifts the listener. In addition to traditional Celtic music, Margaret & Kristoph's repertoire includes Medieval and Renaissance music, holiday music, Classical music, pop music, and pop music including Van Morrison, Beatles, Grateful Dead, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Leonard Cohen, Kate Wolf -- please see their songlist! Margaret & Kristoph have performed extensively throughout the San Francisco Bay Area at festivals and venues including the Dublin St. Patrick's Festival, Herbst Theatre, Freight & Salvage, the Walnut Creek and Mill Valley Art & Wine Festivals, the Redwood Mountain Fair, and the Health & Harmony Festival. They have performed in Britain, Germany, and China, and for hundreds of weddings and private events. They can be heard on dozens of recordings and in 2008 they performed in the Disney movie Bedtime Stories. Margaret & Kristoph also play with a fiddler, mandocellist, and bodhran-player, and with their Celtic rock band Avalon Rising they become a dance band. Some unsolicited comments: “Dear Margaret & Kristoph - Your music on our wedding day welcomed all to the spirit of the forest and the spirit of the day, it was beautiful magic!” --Kelly and Melissa “Margaret & Kristoph -- your music is even more beautiful in person. Thank you so much for making the ceremony 'perfect'!” -- Dianne and Dennis “I really can not express how wonderful our wedding was and how perfectly the music completed the atmosphere. We could not have asked for or changed anything for the world. Thank you. Best wishes to you both.” --Lesley and Ray “Thank you so much to you and Kristoph for performing for our event on Wednesday. You were wonderful and I heard great things about your music. Thank you again for sharing your time and talent with nearly 450 people who attended our two events. I am grateful!” --S___ Foundation
