Lee was awesome! He played for my girlfriend's birthday party and was both a very good piper AND sensitive to the circumstances. I would absolutely hire him again and would highly recommend him to anyone in the Charlotte area looking for a piper!

When Google suggested this site & I was given all the Bagpiper options, I knew immediately I wanted Lee to play the graveside service for my beloved Aunt. I just had a feeling about him. He was personable, approachable, & extremely accommodating to work with. My Aunt's request was Amazing Grace but I asked for a procession & conclusion piping as well & Lee obliged. I was completely touched at his genuine compassion & care he extended to my family & my Aunt's daughter. I absolutely recommend Lee McLeod for playing venues & events. Absolutely fantastic! After such a rough year for everyone, it was nice to have Lee stop by and celebrate my husband's 30th birthday by playing some music! He did an excellent job and went above and beyond expectations! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the Scottish music and culture. Thank you so much Lee! We really enjoyed it!

I can't say enough good things about Lee. He was at the cemetery well in advance of the service. He played beautifully. If I need a bagpiper in the future I will definitely use Lee. I had numerous positive comments about him after the service. It was a wonderful tribute to my mom.

Connected with Lee about a week before my wife’s 50th birthday party. This surprise of having a bagpiper at her party was something I really wanted to pull off. Lee worked with me on the plan and timing. His fees were reasonable as well. He showed up early and not only played flawlessly for my wife and our family but spent some time talking with us about his craft. Lee also followed up with us the next morning to see how we liked his playing and to thank us for the opportunity. Would definitely hire Lee again for any bagpiping needs and highly recommend him to anyone wanting to create a special occasion with professional bagpipe music.

Lee came out and worked an event at our museum for St. Patrick's Day. We booked him simply to play at the event, but he took the time to explain the science of the instrument and the music behind it. We definitely enjoyed his performances and would highly recommend hiring him for any of your events.
