I am a classically trained cellist with a great deal of experience in other styles and genres of music. I am a full-time freelance musician and I divide my time between live performances/tours, recording, and events (weddings, parties, etc). I would be happy to send a more detailed resume upon request. I have many string-playing friends with whom I play regularly, so I can easily form a duo, trio, quartet, or larger ensemble. Here are a few popular ensemble types: cello/violin cello/piano cello/2 violins (string trio) cello/2 violins/viola (string quartet) cello/harp I have a large collection of both classical and popular tunes: song list available upon request. Emily Rose was very professional and helpful about my situation. I had asked her to play a few songs with a violinist she suggested for my engagement proposal I planned for my girlfriend in the Cumberland Park. Everything went according to plan, the musicians were very cooperative and she said yes! I would definitely recommend Emily Rose for anyone who enjoys the cello and any suggestions for other artists playing by her side like the wonderful violinist as they played very graceful together. An essential (and magically unimposing) presence! Ms. Emily provided the simple, elegant ambiance we hoped for our wedding and reception. Her professionalism at the event & before were ideal. She helped arrange a second musician without issue, accommodated specific music requests (incl. a special adaptation outside her repertoire), & answered our questions without delay. Her reserved approach, easy manner, & clarity around pricing helped relieve any pre-wedding stress (at least on the music side!). At the event, Emily and her fellow musician arrived ahead of time well dressed, adjusted to our venue and planner's designs, & were heard in all the best ways.
