Hey there! My name is Samantha and I've been a cartoonist and caricature artist for over 20 years. I'm happy to travel as far as needed for a job and happy to work with the event host and hostess to make sure their event is absolutely perfect. I've worked for a few local newspapers as well as for larger company events and I've done everything from weddings to bar mitvahs to children's parties so I am used to working a variety of different events and circumstances. I like to draw in black and white and when I do, I can do about 12-15 full body caricatures per hour. I can do color in some instances, but the work is much slower, and I've found many people prefer the black and white ones anyway. I charge $90/hr plus a $50 flat fee for travel and materials and have a two hour minimum. You'll find after shopping around that this is much less expensive than most independent artists or entertainment companies, which can charge anywhere between $125-$175/hr.
