“I draw caricatures that won’t have you running to your therapist the next day.” ~Penny Your guests can expect an engaging, full-time “gig artist” who will create a cartoon portrait of your guests in a way that will make them smile, while entertaining your other guests as they enjoy watching her process. Penny has been an artist for most of her life, with a focus on portraits. Her mixed media style of art has given her invaluable experience in seeing and creating faces in many ways. This translates beautifully to her successful work as a caricature artist, who now brings her talent to the BASH community. Penny lives in downtown Cary with her beloved dog, Macy. Penny’s love of interacting with people, her communication skills and dependability will make her the perfect artist for your event. Penny is available to draw: -B&W (3-4 minutes per face) -2-toned (5-6 minutes per face) -Color (6-7 minutes per face) *available to travel throughout NC, SC & VA. Travel costs will be added to standard rates. NEW for 2024: DIGITAL CARICATURES!!! Penny’s draws on her iPad, and the guests can view her process on a monitor and can download their portrait from a Google drive with a QR code provided at the event (and make it into a profile pic, mug, hat, etc.). Color 4x6 prints can also be printed at the event for an additional cost.
