The Island Guys Caribbean/Reggae band is available for all of your entertainment needs including corporate, weddings, private parties, concerts, festivals, and more. We are based in Michigan in the Detroit area. The group has been performing together for 10 years. We are a trio which consists of steel drums, keyboards, and percussion. All three band members also sing. The band is available as a 3 piece, duo, or single. The band is also free to travel. The Island Guys provide an exciting blend of Calypso, Reggae, Soca, Salsa, Jazz and Contemporary music that always incorporates the unique island sounds of the"Steel Drum"and the fascinating percussive rhythms from the islands. We provide beautiful background island music for any kind of event as well as a up beat fun-filled show with HIGH ENERGY tropical music. We also can perform a Jimmy Buffet Tribute set, salsa set, dance music and a smooth jazz set.
