Liberty Bell Brass Brass Band from Philadelphia, PA

Liberty Bell Brass is an electrifying, lively, and joyous ensemble comprised of some of Philadelphia's best musical talents, dedicated to lifting spirits and inspiring a fulfilling experience that your guests will love! This band wouldn’t exist without the brass bands of New Orleans, and songs from that tradition are well-represented in our repertoire, but we play music that runs the gamut of genre and style. Our special brand of entertainment is a showcase of your favorite pop songs, from modern stars and classic artists, re-interpreted in our own funky horn-and-percussion format. You'll hear trumpets belting out Britney Spears, trombone channeling Lil Nas X, sousaphone laying down a Stevie Wonder bass line, and marching drums playing the grooves of Pharrell, Bruno Mars, and so many more. Our ensemble performs most often in completely acoustic, unamplified settings, and we can perform with instruments that are totally mobile. That makes us perfect for hosts who would prefer to avoid the cost and logistical constraints of setting up PA systems and entire bandstands, but don't want to sacrifice the energy and presence of a full band (However, we can also provide amplification if you desire). We also have plenty of experience playing as a 'flash mob,' delighting guests with a surprise dance party that comes right to them before making our exit, or settling into place to play the rest of the event. In fact, any kind of movement (parade, strolling musicians, wedding processional/recessional) that you can conceive of, we're up for it! If any portion of your event calls for music not to pull focus away from eating or conversation, we can handle that too. We play jazz, New Orleans second line, reggae/ska, klezmer, polka, classical music; it's up to you what kind of atmosphere you want us to provide (We even perform sometimes as "Wookiedelphia," an all-Star Wars band complete with costumed characters!).
