Blue Steel Express Blues Band from Lisbon Falls, ME

Blue Steel Express is one of the longest continually-performing blues bands in Maine, and has been laying down their unique brand of blues in Maine and New England for three decades, and is diversified into a wide range of acts, from a full-bore electric house-rockin' blues band to a smooth, tasty acoustic blues duo. They have performed at numerous regional music festivals sharing the stage with national blues acts including Saffire, Tab Benoit, and Shemekia Copeland. The 'Express is comprised of founding members Kevin Kimball (slide guitar), vocalist Deb Danuski, and master drummer Bub Lynch, along with bassist Jim Palmer (formerly of Arlo West and the LA Bluesmen). The band features tight arrangements of rocking blues standards and original material built around Deb's vocals, Kevin's slide playing, and classy presentation. Their debut CD, "Doin’ That Crosstie Strut", received steady FM airplay and was hailed as "one of the most pleasant surprises of the year" by music critics. Got mojo?
