High Desert Rangers Bluegrass Band from Santa Fe, NM

Traditional bluegrass from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Fronted by mandolinist David Thom, DT has been playing bluegrass since 1994, and has worked with the likes of David Grisman, Laurie Lewis and Don Rigsby, to name a few. Jon Graboff - Jon’s first professional gig was playing in a bluegrass band and after many twists and turns, playing on a variety of instruments with a variety of performers like Iris Dement, Phil Lesh, Ryan Adams and Cyndi Lauper, he’s making a full circle to some early roots. Zeke Severson, upright bass, has been in New Mexico for 30+ years, and is a member of the band South by Southwest, which has been in existence since before it was a festival! Ben Perea - Ben Perea, 5-time New Mexico state banjo champion is a 'musician extraordinaire.' Whether he’s playing banjo or guitar, Ben never misses a beat (and rarely a note!). He started playing banjo at 16 and joined a band before he was old enough to be in establishments requiring IDs at the front entrance.
