Backwoods Bluegrass Band is a five piece band from Bedford, Indiana that was formed in September 2014. Each member of the band has their own special quality that they bring to the table and that's what makes Backwoods work so well. Booking available for festivals, church events, social gatherings, and private/corporate events. Largest Venues to date include playing for Indiana's 4 Living Govenors at the Indiana State Museum , Playing for Taylor University , 2 time booking at The Northern Indiana Bluegrass Association Festival and many, many Churches across Southern Indiana . Austin Harper , Joe East & Aaron Tackett provide close harmonies . Lead singer Austin Harper has developed into one of the exciting Bluegrass voices around .
