The George Rose Big Band Big Band from Brantford, ON

We are a highly versatile 18 piece band, featuring strong soloists in every section, as well as both male and female vocal soloists. Our repertoire ranges from current hits of the past ten years to golden classics of the forties. We enjoy a lot of big band jazz and regularly perform selections by Dizzy Gilespie, Charlie Parker, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and many more jazz artists. Our vocals cover the stylings of Frank Sinatra, Joe Williams, Nora Jones, Natalie Cole and several other famous vocalists. We perform for corporate functions, classy weddings, grand openings,jazz festivals, community events, educational clinics and concerts,fund raisers,and just about any other event that the awesome presence of a truly great big band is required. We have been operating for twenty-seven years, have an enormous library of tunes,and eighteen of the finest musicians that I have had the good pleasure of working with.
