Hear the music of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and many of the old Big Band favorites. Sing along with tunes such as Beyond The Sea, At Last, and I'm In The Mood For Love. Glass City Swing Band is a newly formed 18-member Big Band Dance Band. Many of our members have been playing for 40 plus years either in their own bands or in various groups such as brass quintets, wind ensembles, musical pits, etc. It is a love for Big Band music and a passion for playing/performing that brings us together to form the Glass City Swing Band. We believe that GCSB brings a taste of nostalgia for the old and something new and fresh for the young playing Big Band tunes that are recognized by both young and old. From our experience playing for Big Band Dances, people generally have a great time and for that first-timer, they are surprised at how much fun they had. We add nostalgia and create an enjoyable evening had by all. Come on, let's have some fun!
