The Dave Banks Big Band- This powerhouse 17 piece big band is based out of Akron, Ohio and is led by Ohio native and 20 year Las Vegas veteran trumpet artist, Dave Banks. The band boasts of having the top musicians in the Northeast Ohio area. Dave fronts the band with his soaring trumpet and also shares the stage with some of the finest vocal talent around. They specialize in the ability to do several themed shows including "The Tribute To Frank Sinatra" show, "Frank and Barbra", the music of Sinatra and Streisand, a USO Variety Show" spanning seven decades of music as well as a Veterans tribute segment, the "Aloha Salute," a 50th Anniversary Elvis Tribute Show, the popular Rat Pack Holiday Show, "Spies in the Night" a Tribute to the music of James Bond, and more!. They have backed several Vegas "Rat Pack" shows in major venues as well as provide backing musicians for "The Temptations, Four Tops, Sal Valentinetti, Frankie Scinta, Serpentine Fire, and other touring acts. This band will definitely make your event sparkle. The repertoire ranges from original compositions to contemporary pop songs to standard big band favorites.
