I’m Carlos (AKA Barlos)! Let’s get the resume part out the way: I have two decades of experience in the New York City bar scene, where I honed my mixology skills at various locales in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including the iconic Brooklyn Star. Since then, I’ve expanded to offer private bartending services across New York and New Jersey. It’s the holidays and you’re planning big things. Now, don’t know where to start? I can create the cocktail menu, help devise the shopping list, and provide fresh juices, specialty/homemade mixers, bitters, syrups, and rimming salts. Just leave the magic to me; I can even provide additional staff if you need. I will arrive an hour ahead of your event start time to set up, prepared with menus for the bar area, as well as all the tools and extras. You will provide the table/bar set up, ice, and cups/glasses. Depending on what’s been agreed, you will provide the liquor. My speciality and most-popular offering is the Barlos Margarita Bar—four flavors, freshly squeezed lime, and sweetener of choice.
